Mumbai Airport Disruptions: 27 Flights Diverted Due to Heavy Rain

The Airport Authority requested that all passengers check the status of their flights before leaving home. "Due to heavy rains and low visibility, runway operations were suspended from 2:22 am to 3:40 am. There have been 27 flight diversions," CSIA said. With the weather still inclement and a forecast by the Meteorological Department of sustained heavy rainfall, CSIA asked travelers to keep themselves updated with their respective airlines and plan to reach the airport ahead of schedule than usual.
