First Made-in-India intranasal Covid vaccine to be launched on Republic Day

The vaccine manufacturer had already received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) earlier this month for the nasal vaccine, the first of its kind in India. "Our nasal vaccine will be officially launched on Republic Day on January 26," said Ella while participating in a session during the 8th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF) that began at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), here on Saturday.

IAF fighter jets to conduct air combat drill in northeast

The IAF said the Eastern Air Command will be conducting its annual Command-level exercise during the first week of February. This exercise, named POORVI AKASH, will be conducted after a gap of two years owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The exercise will involve activation of the Command's fighter, helicopter and transport assets towards routine practice of aerial drills, including joint exercises, an Air Force official said.
Air India 'pee-gate': Delhi court extends Shankar Mishra's judicial custody by 14 days

On January 7, the court had sent Mishra to 14-day judicial custody, which was extended till February 4 on Saturday. Earlier, in the wake of Air India banning Mishra from flying for four months on the basis of its internal committee report, his legal counsel had opposed the findings of the panel, saying that they are ready to file an appeal.
Videos on BBC documentary critical of Modi & Tweets sharing its links blocked

As per informed sources, orders were also issued to Twitter for blocking of over 50 tweets containing the links of the concerned YouTube videos. The directions were reportedly issued by Secretary, Information and Broadcasting on Friday using the emergency powers under the IT Rules, 2021. Both YouTube and Twitter have complied with the directions, the sources said.
Jammu-Srinagar National Highway closed for traffic
