Chandrayaan 3: All set for countdown to begin for India's third moon mission

"The 'Launch Rehearsal' simulating the entire launch preparation and process lasting 24 hours has been concluded," said the Indian space agency on Monday. And just after 2.50 p.m. on July 14, India’s Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will begin its own long moon journey after being ejected by the rocket LVM3, it said.
415 mn Indians moved out of poverty between 2006 and 2021, says UN report

Over 1 lakh pilgrims perform Amarnath Yatra

According to the officials, over 24,000 yatris had ‘Darshan’ on Monday after pilgrims from the two base camps were allowed to move towards the cave shrine as the weather improved in the Kashmir Valley. The movement of yatris was halted for three days due to the closure of Jammu-Srinagar highway as a result of inclement weather. 
Delhi records maximum of 31.4 degrees C, moderate rain likely on Tuesday

The relative humidity at 8.30 p.m was recorded at 95 per cent. The India Meteorological Department has also forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain for Tuesday and the expected range for the maximum and minimum temperatures is around 31 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The aircraft and submarines are being purchased for the Indian Navy this time. Earlier, India had purchased 36 Rafale aircraft from France, but they were for Indian Air Force. An official informed that the proposal has been received by the Defence Ministry and the deal is likely to be announced during Modi's visit to France.
Delhi breaks 41-year-old rainfall record, IMD issues yellow alert for Monday

The IMD said that Delhi's Safdarjung weather station recorded the third-highest 24-hour rainfall for the month of July since 1958. The meteorological office forecasted a generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm for Monday.
