Delhi Lockdown: Migrants queue up at bus stands to rush home

Hundreds of people including children, women and elderly queued up at Rajiv Chowk, Sector-12, Sector-34, Khandsa and Sector-37 bus stations on Tuesday with their belongings to head home leaving their jobs and employment back in the city.

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday tweeted, "Migrants are again moving back, so this is the responsibility of the union government to transfer money to their accounts. Will the government, which is blaming the public for the spread of the Covid, take such a public welfare work."

With 2,59,170, India reports slight decline in daily Covid cases

This is the sixth consecutive day that the country has registered over two lakh Covid cases taking the total tally to 1,50,61,919 cases. India on Sunday recorded 2,61,500 new cases, 2,34,692 cases on Saturday, 2,00,739 and 2,17,353 cases on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Modi to meet vaccine manufacturers today
