Arvind Kejriwal urges UP, Haryana to unite against Covid-19
Kejriwal's remarks came a day after the Delhi Government blamed both the Haryana and UP governments for blocking oxygen supply to Delhi. Addressing a digital briefing, Kejriwal also pledged to provide resources such as oxygen, essential medicines and medical personnel, including doctors, to other States as and when these were in a position of being shared.

A bench headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde said: "We want to see a national plan on the issue." The bench also appointed senior advocate Harish Salve as amicus curiae in the matter. The bench said: "We want to know. In regard to the four issues: supply of oxygen, supply of essential drugs, method and manner of vaccination. And, we want to keep the power to declare lockdown with the states."

Addressing a digital press conference, Kejriwal said, "Delhi is facing Oxygen crisis for past few days. Centre fixes Oxygen quota for all states. As per Delhi government's estimate, the city needs 700 tonnes per day, however, the Centre yesterday gave only 480 tonnes. We need more, but we are thankful to them for this."
Delhi HC declines to set aside CCI probe into WhatsApp privacy policy
A single bench of Justice Navin Chawla said it did not find merit in the petition and refused to quash the CCI probe. The court said probe cannot be quashed merely because CCI did not await the outcome of the cases pending before the Supreme Court and the High Court.

India reports 3.14 lakh new Covid cases, highest-ever daily spike
Since April 15, India has continued to report over 2 lakh new Covid-19 cases on a daily basis. There were 2,95,041 new cases on Wednesday, 2,59,170 cases on April 20, 2,73,510 on April 19, 2,61,500 on April 18, 2,34,692 on April 17, 2,17,353 on April 16 and 2,00,739 on April 15.
17.19% polling recorded in first 2 hrs in Bengal
According to the approximate two-hours data released by the Election Commission, it shows that the state recorded a polling percentage of 17.19 - a relatively high voter turnout considering the other phases of the election.
