3,080 Candidates from UP Selected for Jobs in Israel, Skill Test to Follow

According to an official statement on Sunday, only candidates with properly signed and sealed application forms issued by the institute and registered with the labor department will be eligible to participate in the skill test.

The walk-in registration of workers destined for jobs in Israel has concluded at the Government ITI in Lucknow, with nearly 3,080 workers selected for various positions. The selection process attracted thousands of applicants for the 10,000 vacancies for construction workers in Israel. A skill test is now scheduled to take place until January 30.

According to an official statement on Sunday, only candidates with properly signed and sealed application forms issued by the institute and registered with the labor department will be eligible to participate in the skill test. Government ITI Principal Raj Kumar Yadav emphasized that candidates not registered with the labor department and who haven't approached Government ITI Aliganj in Lucknow by January 28 for signed application forms will not be allowed to appear for the skill test.

Yadav noted that around 2,400 forms were distributed, and only these candidates would be permitted to participate in the skill test until January 30. The skill test assesses candidates' abilities in tasks such as shuttering work, tiles and marble fitting, and wall plastering.

On Sunday, thousands of jobseekers from Uttar Pradesh and beyond gathered at ITI Aliganj gates, causing a commotion. The Israel job opportunities come with attractive perks, including a monthly salary of Rs 1,37,250 and a fund bonus of Rs 15,000. The skill test is part of the state government's efforts to provide employment opportunities to Indian workers in Israel under the Chief Minister Mission Employment Scheme.
