Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, who is known for performing beautifully in films like 'Aankhein' and 'Sirf Tum', had also appreciated having Salman Khan as her co-star.
A throwback video is doing the rounds on social media from Sushmita's visit to the celebrity chat show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' back in 2021. In the video, Sushmita can be heard saying: "Main bahut khushnaseeb hoon ki mujhe ek aisa actor mila jo ki hai Salman Khan, unhone mujhe humesha kaha hai, Biwi No. 1 ke time se, Sush joote pehenna bhool gayi tu? Main to Maine Kaha Nahin Peheen Ke Aayi Hoon, David Dhawan Ne Bola Hai Flats Pehenne Hai. So, He Said 'Nahi, You Carry Your Height, I'll Carry My, You Want To Wear A Heel You Wear It'.
She Further Added, "So If The Woman Is Tall Height Then What Would Happen? You'd Raise Your Eyebrows In Conversation, We'd Lower Our Heads And Listen.
Also starring Karisma Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tabu, Himani Shivpuri, among many others in key roles, 'Biwi No.1' is directed by David Dhawan. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan made special cameos in this 1991 film, while being a remake of the Tamil 1995 film 'Sathi Leelavathi', which had the great Kamal Haasan as part of the cast.
In addition to 'Biwi No.1', Salman and Sushmita worked together in the 2002 action-thriller, Pankaj Parashar-directed 'Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge' and in the 2005 comedy-drama 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya', again Dhawan-directed.
