Bollywood fashion icon Malaika Arora went on a throwback ride to the '90s, reviving vintage fashion in her recent social media update.
Stepping onto Instagram, Malaika posted a clip in which she sported retro looks in two gorgeous outfits. In the video, she is initially seen sporting wide-leg jeans and a striped top before getting into a dressing room.
After a minute, she gets back out looking a chic floral print thigh-high length dress, adding the final touch to her style with knee boots and half-pulled-back ponytail.
To add to the retro look, she uploaded the video to Gloria Gaynor's iconic 1978 hit, I Will Survive. Her post captioned, "Jus some 90s retro."
Outside of fashion, Malaika recently celebrated a milestone in her life. She marked the 10th birthday of her favorite pet, Casper, a white adorable Pomeranian who has been part of her family for 10 years.
Sharing a touching video, Malaika gave fans a walk down the memory lane, with Casper as a small puppy with her son, Arhaan Khan, from his childhood. The video also included adorable moments of Casper with her during yoga and exercise. Showing her love, she wrote: "And just like that, our baby Casper is 10 today… The centre of our lives. Happy birthday my Caspuuuuuu #mymosthandsome."
Earlier, Malaika had also posted an Instagram story with a peaceful scene on her balcony. Wearing relaxed athleisure and ankle weights, she was sitting on a swing with Casper next to her, basking in the morning sun. She had captioned the post: "Start my day right…. yoga + sunshine + Casper + me time."
Professional wise, Malaika has established herself in Bollywood as an actress and producer. Along with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, she co-founded Arbaaz Khan Productions in 2008, opening the blockbuster franchise of Dabangg.
As a performer, she has performed some of Bollywood's most memorable dance songs, such as Chaiyya Chaiyya, Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha, Maahi Ve, Kaal Dhamaal, and Munni Badnaam Hui.
