Keeping up with the festivities, actress Hina Khan channeled her inner "Desi girl" dressed in a beautiful Indian wear.
Taking to Instagram, Hina shared a transformation reel. In the clip, the actress, who is first seen dressed up in casual wear, knocks on the camera lens and is heard mouthing the line: "Excuse me has anybody seen…
She immediately turns into royalty and, of course, that cannot be without wearing Indian wear. There also comes a song titled "Desi girl" from the 2008 movie "Dostana," starring Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, and Abhay Deol.
She captioned the post: "Desi girl #reelsinstagram #reelitfeelit #trendingreels.".
Dostana is a film directed by Tarun Mansukhani, shot in Miami. The two male protagonists of the movie pretend to be gay in order to live in an apartment with a girl, but end up falling in love with her.
Hina had declared that she had cancer on June 28.
She updated her post on social media and published a post that said: "Hello Everyone, As you are all aware, there was a certain rumour. And I want to keep you all in the know with some news that I think everybody should know who loves and cares for me. Well, I got my diagnosis, and I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. This diagnosis is very hard for me, but I'm doing very well.".
"I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."
At that time, the actress had requested privacy.
I really appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I journey through this. I and my family and loved ones stay focused, determined, and positive. "

She is famous for playing the character Akshara in the show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', one of the longest-running family dramas. Besides Hina, the show previously had Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Pranali Rathod, and Harshad Chopda.
Besides that, Nia also worked as a part of some other reality shows such as 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8', 'Bigg Boss 11', and 'Bigg Boss 14'. She played a character named Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and appeared on the show 'Naagin 5'.
