Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' Crosses ₹200 Crore Mark at the Box Office

Vicky Kaushal's period drama Chhaava has bullied its way past the ₹200 crore mark at the box office in merely six days of its theatrical release, as officially informed by production house Maddock Films.

helmed by Laxman Utekar, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna alongside Kaushal, the movie was released in theatres on February 14.

Maddock Films posted the current box office numbers on Instagram, where they revealed that the film earned ₹32.4 crore on the sixth day to take its domestic collection to ₹203.68 crore.

Tying in the occasion, the production company wrote on its Instagram Story, "On the occasion of Shiv Jayanti, Chhaava's might."

Chhaava features Kaushal as legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who was the great son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Apart from this, the film also received tax-free status in Madhya Pradesh and Goa.
