Ibrahim Ali Khan is ready to debut in his highly awaited Bollywood film Nadaaniyan, featuring Khushi Kapoor. The film will be out on Netflix on March 7.
The platform announced it on its official Instagram, adding a playful touch with a Kuch Kuch Hota Hai reference, stating: "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai aisi Nadaaniyan dekh kar Watch Nadaaniyan, out 7 March, only on Netflix!"
In Nadaaniyan, Ibrahim plays Arjun Mehta, and Khushi stars as Pia Jai Singh. The film delves into the complexities of Gen Z romance, exploring how emotions can be tricky and how sometimes pretending to be something we’re not becomes all too real. Directed by Shauna Gautam in her directorial debut, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment. The supporting cast is done by Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.
The second song from the film, Galatfehmi, was released on February 17. This soulful track captures the emotional intricacies of love, loss, and the unspoken feelings that often linger.
The song features the voices of Tushar Joshi and Madhubanti Bagchi, composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Ibrahim and Khushi’s chemistry in the song has already garnered attention, and it has only heightened excitement for the upcoming release.
The story is about Pia, a South Delhi free-spirited girl, and Arjun, a boy from Noida with determination in his eyes. Their worlds, vastly different, clash, propelling them through love, adventures, and all the sweet and messy magic of first love.
Shauna Gautam, debuting as director for Nadaaniyan, has earlier worked as an assistant director for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
