British actor Tom Hollander shared a surprising experience on the Wednesday edition of Late Night with Seth Meyers, revealing that he accidentally received fellow actor Tom Holland's paycheck for a box-office bonus payment related to 'The Avengers'.

The confusion arose because both actors were represented by the same talent agency at the time. Hollander received an email notifying him of a significant box-office bonus payment, leading him to realize, "I don’t think I’m in 'The Avengers'. It was an astonishing amount of money," as he told Meyers.

Teasing that the payment was a "seven-figure sum" on top of Tom Holland’s negotiated salary, Hollander did not disclose the exact amount. The email arrived just after he had hosted a BBC show for which he earned $30,000.

Reflecting on the unexpected turn of events, Hollander quipped, "My feeling of smugness disappeared very quickly. It’s up, it’s down. It’s hero, it’s zero." The incident highlights the occasional administrative errors in the entertainment industry that can lead to amusing and unforeseen situations for actors.
