This new mission seems to be Hunt's most dangerous yet, as he battles increasing betrayals and discovers incendiary secrets. Based on the trailer, he's again dealing with a powerful rogue AI, this time taking the stakes up to global proportions.

As this artificial intelligence constricts the globe, it places Hunt's loyal team—Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), and Grace (Hayley Atwell)—in grave danger. In true Ethan Hunt style, he decides to gamble everything, even his life, to save those he loves.

The trailer culminates in an emotional moment, ending with Hunt's passionate appeal: "I need you to trust me; one last time."

The trailer premiered with a strong tagline: "Every decision, every mission, has all led to this. #MissionImpossible – The Final Reckoning. May 23, 2025." It begins with an intense dialogue between senior government leaders narrating Hunt's mythical exploits from previous missions. The Director of the CIA proclaims, "If we need to save the world from the edge, we must deal with him."
