While the divorce procedures between Hollywood royalties Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are gearing up, there's a little something which could turn out to be a momentary respite for the fans of the couple.
A set of throwback pictures from 2000, which has surfaced on the Internet, shows the two enjoying their holiday in Vancouver, Canada.
In the pictures, JLo is spotted in athleisure wear as Ben is in a green T-shirt and beige-colored pants.
The 'Air' actor has kept the hand on JLo's shoulder.
Meanwhile, the couple got married to each other in an even grand way in Georgia on August 20, 2022, returning to be together for two decades. But now they are heading toward Splitsville.
According to reports, JLo filed for divorce this week in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The official separation date is April 26.
It was in two films that the pair did together: Martin Brest's largely reviled 2003 romance-caper "Gigli" and Kevin Smith's 2004 comedy "Jersey Girl." By the time the latter hit theaters, Lopez and Affleck had already called off their engagement and parted ways. Both went on to marry and divorce other people in the intervening years, JLo to Marc Anthony, and Affleck to Jennifer Garner.
The two then began dating in public again about three years ago.
JLo had been keeping her fans in the know about her engagement and subsequent marriage to Ben via her social media and newsletter.
Ben and JLo have spent time apart since the past three months, and she has even spent her birthday away from him.
Reports in June said the two were focusing on their separate lives following tension in the marriage.
The insider close to JLo shared that the actress moved all his things out from the Beverly Hills mansion where they are staying before she came back from her trip to Europe.
