Siddhant Chaturvedi's ‘Yudhra’ Set for September 20 Release

Bollywood star Siddhant Chaturvedi finally announced a release date for his highly anticipated film, Yudhra, on September 20. He took to Instagram and shared the first look of the film, alongside the date. In this striking image, Siddhant is depicted dramatically with a bloodied appearance, his white shirt soaked in blood. He is seen holding a lollipop in one hand and a gun in another expression that represents a fierce, intense, angry expression that spells out the "angry young man."

 The film is a directorial of Ravi Udyawar and produced by Excel Entertainment. Yudhra features an ensemble cast including Malavika Mohanan, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, and Raghav Juyal.

Siddhant Chaturvedi debuted on Indian television as an actor with the TV sitcom Life Sahi Hai in the year 2016. The serial revolves around four boys and recounts their stories of staying together. He began to get noticed and recognized post Inside Edge, where he essayed the promising young cricketer Prashant Kanaujia. The show is a 2017 web series associated with the Indian Premier League and Vickey shared the screen with big stars like Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chada, Tanuj Virwani, Angad Bedi, and Sayani Gupta.

Siddhant came to prominence in 2019 with his role as street rapper MC Sher in the Zoya Akhtar-directed, critically acclaimed musical drama Gully Boy. Co-written by Akhtar and Reema Kagti, it was a film that starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.

He was then seen in notable films like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Gehraiyaan, and Phone Bhoot. His next project is the coming-of-age drama, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Ananya Panday and Adarsh co-star in this Arjun Varain Singh directorial. The film also marks the collaboration between filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. It is co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar through Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, respectively, and hits theatres today.
