Shweta Tiwari sparks controversy with her 'God Measuring My Bra Size' remark, MP govt orfers probe

While promoting her latest web series, the actress referred to God while talking about her inner-wear. The actress said, “Mere bra ki size Bhagwan le rahe hai (God is taking the measurements for my bra).” After her remark, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra asked the police officer to investigate her remark and submit a report within 24 hours.

Indian Telly actress, Shweta Tiwari landed into the mud of trouble after her controversial statement over God taking the measurement of her undergarment. 

While promoting her latest web series, the actress referred to God while talking about her inner-wear. The actress said, “Mere bra ki size Bhagwan le rahe hai (God is taking the measurements for my bra).”

After her remark, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra asked the police officer to investigate her remark and submit a report within 24 hours.

When asked about the actor's statement, Mishra told reporters on Thursday, "I have heard it and I strongly condemn it. I have directed the police commissioner of Bhopal to probe it and give a report within 24 hours. After that, we will see what action can be taken in the matter."

As per the reports, Shweta was talking about her upcoming web series which captures Sourabh Raaj Jain, the actor who played the role of Lord Krishna in Maharbharta playing the role of bra fitter. It is believed Shweta was talking in reference to Sourabh's famous character. Show Stopper also stars Rohit Roy and Digangana Suryavanshi.

Shweta was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Thursday upon her return from Bhopal. She was in a pink crop top and blue pants.

Meanwhile on the work front, Shweta was last seen in Indian reality show Khatron ke Khiladi 11.
