Celebrating the fifth anniversary of the Indian Air Force's airstrikes on the terrorist base in Balakot, Pakistan, the creators of 'Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond' have unveiled the teaser of their upcoming web series.
Set to be released on JioCinema, the show offers a behind-the-scenes look at the terrorist operations in Balakot and the mission to rescue Group Captain Abhinandan Varthaman.
The Balakot airstrikes, carried out on February 26, 2019, marked a pivotal moment in India's military history. The series, starring Ashutosh Rana, Jimmy Shergill, and Lara Dutta, draws inspiration from this significant event.
The teaser, running for 43 seconds, begins with footage from the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019, which claimed the lives of 46 CRPF personnel. It then transitions to the aftermath of the attack and the subsequent planning for the Balakot operation.
Featuring powerful dialogues and intense scenes, the teaser offers a glimpse into the intricacies of the Balakot mission and the challenges faced by the protagonists. It sheds light on lesser-known aspects of the operation and its impact on the nation.
Speaking about the series, Lara Dutta expressed her admiration for the armed forces and their dedication to the country. She emphasized the significance of honoring the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation, especially on the anniversary of such a historic event.
