'No big deal': Salman Khan family opens up on not getting invitation for Katrina and Vicky’s wedding

Going candid about the wedding of Katrina and Vicky, the Antrim actor said “For us, Katrina is a very dear friend and all of us wish her all the best. It’s the way she wants to decide her marriage and there is no big deal about it. I think everyone makes a very big deal. It’s her and Vicky’s big day and they need to have a good time, in whatever capacity, that’s about it.”

Last year on December 09, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal started a new journey by tying knots in Rajasthan. To keep the wedding low-key- a limited number of guests were invited to the wedding. And fans were surprised when they got to know that Salman Khan was not invited to Katrina's big day.

Salman Khan has played a big role in the career of Katrina. He and The Khan-Dhan are pretty close to Katrina yet they were not invited to her big day. In a recent, Interview, Ayush Sharma who is married to Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan explained why they were not invited to Katrina’s wedding. Fortunately, there were no hard feelings.

Continuing further, Aayush Sharma said that the family is ‘happy’ that Katrina has found love. He stated, “Katrina is always going to be close to us as a family and we are just happy that she is happy. When people find happiness, that is the most beautiful thing we can wish for our family, friends, colleagues, that everybody finds their center and their happiness.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be soon seen sharing the screen with Katrina in the 3rd installment of the Ek The Tiger franchise.
