On Monday, controversial Bollywood and Bhojpuri actor-producer Kamaal Rashid Khan found himself apprehended at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport while attempting to board a flight to Dubai.
Taking to social media, Khan shared his predicament, asserting that the Mumbai Police had detained him in connection with a 2016 case when he was en route to Dubai.
According to Khan, he had been in Mumbai for the past year, diligently attending court proceedings on all scheduled dates. He hinted at a perceived conspiracy against him, suggesting a potential threat to his life.
In a cryptic statement, he stated, "If I die in any circumstances in a police station or in jail, so you all should know that it's a murder. And you all know, who is responsible." Although he refrained from explicitly naming anyone, he alleged that Bollywood megastar Salman Khan held him responsible for the purported failure of "Tiger-3" (2023).
In his social media post, Kamaal Khan tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and various media houses. This development comes against the backdrop of Khan's history of controversies, involving remarks, tweets, film reviews targeting fellow Bollywood celebrities, and alleged communal utterances.
