In a recent episode of Ashneer Grover’s reality series Rise & Fall, Arbaz Patel didn’t hold back when discussing his co-contestant Kiku Sharda. Arbaz accused Kiku of harboring jealousy towards him, stating, “When people talk behind your back, it means you’re already ahead of them. I’m here to play my game and lead it my way; no outside noise can affect that."
Arbaz, who is also Nikki Tamboli’s boyfriend, went further by suggesting that Kiku’s decision to join Rise & Fall was driven by a lack of work. “Kiku Sharda has left television and acting to suddenly be here. He was never part of a reality show, and now it looks like he has no work and had to come to this space. Maybe that’s why the jealousy is showing," he commented.
Previous to this, The Great Indian Kapil Show fans were left surprised when news broke out that Kiku Sharda left the show. It was reported that his departure from Kapil Sharma's Netflix show came after a fight with Krushna Abhishek.
However, Kiku then took to Instagram and shared a photo with Krushna, putting all speculation to rest. He captioned it, “yeh bandhan… kabhi nahi tootega! 💪🙌 the ‘fight’ was a prank only… Don’t fall for all this gossip and rumours ki I’ve left The Great Indian Kapil Show. I’ll always be a part of the show and this parivaar. Toh yeh sab chhodo aur jao Netflix pe show dekho – sirf 3 episode baaki hain."
Presented by Ashneer Grover, Rise & Fall focuses on a battle for power between two teams of contestants: the upper-class Rulers in a plush penthouse and the struggling Workers in a basement. Workers need to finish jobs and tasks to make money and possibly overthrow the Rulers, while the Rulers try to defend their top spots.
In addition to Arbaz, the series also hosts a cast of celebrities such as Arjun Bijlani, rapper Bali, Aarush Bhola, Kiku Sharda, Aahana Kumra, Nayandeep Rakshit, Sangeeta Phogat, Pawan Singh, Kubbra Sait, and Noorin Sha, to mention but a few.
