Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are one of the most celebrated on-screen duos of the industry, who have featured in a number of blockbusters. But recently Kareena revealed that she found it weird to work with Akshay.
Kareena Kapoor recently sat down to have a conversation with Twinkle Khanna that was shared online by Tweak’s YouTube channel. During the conversation, Twinkle asked Kareena about her experience while working with her husband, Akshay Kumar.
She said, "I am romancing all of Lolo's (Karisma) co-stars, it's so weird. (During) Akshay's first shot, I was in my school uniform. It's been such a long time, it just shows how amazing he is rather than me." But Twinkle disagreed and said, “Maybe not, it also shows that here men can just have these long careers and women…”
Contradicting her, Kareena said, “But now we are proving them wrong”, with Twinkle highlighting how she is still among the top female actors even after 20 years in the film industry.
Kareena and Akshay have worked together in numerous movies while Akshay has worked with Karishma on 13 projects.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is next going to be seen in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
