During the engaging conversation, Karan Johar fondly revisited a moment when Kajol had provided him with invaluable advice and encouragement during the initial days of shooting 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Reflecting on the first day of the film's shoot, KJo recounted Kajol's words to him, where she expressed, "Karan, you're a bit soft. You might feel intimidated on such a big set. You need to demonstrate that you have control. Despite being only 24 years old, you're the director. So why don't you loudly shout at me?"

The director of 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' further elaborated on Kajol's suggestion, stating, "She suggested, 'If you manage to do that, everyone will recognize that you should take this director seriously because he even raised his voice at Kajol'. I found it incredibly sweet, although I didn't end up raising my voice because I felt it might be too overwhelming if, on the first day, I began shouting at such a prominent movie star."
