'Kalki 2898 AD' storms into the worldwide box office and the figures are oscillating towards the Rs 1,000-crore mark.
The movie collected approximately Rs 34.45 crore in the domestic box office on its day 10 and jumped 106 percent up after the film experienced escalated collections. It has minted Rs 11 crore in the Telugu states.
Interestingly, the box-office dynamics shifted, with Rs 18.5 crore accumulated at the Hindi market, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk.
The star-studded film with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone is pretty well on course for the Rs 1,000 crore milestone in India.
Its net collection in India is now Rs 466 crore, and the film has clocked Rs 709 crore globally.
For morning 3D shows, the Telugu region clocks an occupancy of 32.62 percent, higher than the 21.79 percent in the Hindi belt. In the night shows, Telugu occupancy rises to 74.77 percent with a Hindi occupancy of 58.80 percent.
Despite the fact that 'Kill' was released last week, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is cruising in the box office with an estimated Rs 1.25 crore business on the date of opening.
The collections of the film in ten days have already crossed the movies like 'Pathan', 'Salaar', 'Saaho', 'Dangal', and 'Bahubali'.
Next in the line of 'Kalki 2898 AD' is Sunny Deol-led 'Gadar 2', the collections of which stand at Rs 525 crore in India.
If the pace is to be believed, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is expected to cross 'Gadar 2' in the next 3-4 days.
