Canadian pop star Justin Bieber has again raised eyebrows among fans regarding his mental well-being after a touching post made on his Instagram Stories.
In a very open letter, the 'Baby' singer confided in being emotionally exhausted and battling underlying rage. He confessed to having felt broken for years despite all individual attempts at recovery.
People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could've healed myself, I would already have?" Bieber wrote. "I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I've tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me tired and angrier,".
The 30-year-old artist also shared his emotional exhaustion and revealed how using his faith as a remedy assists him in diverting his attention from his own issues to others. "The more I try to grow, the more self-focused I become. Jesus is the only one who makes me want to make my life all about others. Because yeah, I am tired with myself focus lately, aren't you?" he added.
This is not the first time Bieber has taken to social media to express how he feels. In another Instagram Story, he asked people not to impose their problems or insecurities on others, indicating that he does not find solace in being constantly questioned about his well-being.
Stop asking me if I'm fine. Stop asking me how I am. I don't do that to you. Because I know how things are for all of us. It's tough. Letss inspire our people, not project our insecurities onto each other. Your concern doesn't register as care. It's just oppressive weirdo.(sic)" he posted.
Bieber's recent social media activity has contributed to widespread anxiety over his demeanor, which has been in the spotlight in recent months.
Recently, the singer was filmed in a confrontation with paparazzi outside Soho House in Malibu, California. In the clip, he at first attempted to ignore photographers but later confronted them. "We're gonna set boundaries here today. I'm not afraid to set boundaries," he emphasized.
The accident soon went viral on the internet, highlighting the scrutiny that celebrities suffer under constant public scrutiny.
