Consequently, he said he felt like he was "drowning" and unsafe in accepting his hate feelings. He ended by saying that healing and letting go of hate takes first acknowledging its existence, particularly considering all the pain he has endured.

Earlier this month, Bieber also shared about his experience of self-doubt, revealing that even with repeated positive feedback in his entire life, he has frequently felt not worthy.

He shared that compliments made him feel like an imposter and that he generally felt "unequipped and unqualified." This was posted after one where he shared not feeling that he needed to prove anything to anybody, and the implication is that he is working on keeping the focus in the present and living life as it comes.
