There has been a tender moment shared between actress-singer Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who, according to unconfirmed reports, is in a troubled marriage.
Contrary to the rumors of possible divorce, Lopez seems to squash at least some of the heavy rumors as she takes on posting sweet messages for her husband, reports Mirror.co.uk.
On Instagram, JLo posted a black-and-white photo of a contemplative Ben, 51, along with a touching caption.
She called Ben “Our Hero,” indicating that there is still a significant amount of love between them. She added a heart emoji and concluded the post with “Happy Father’s Day.”
According to Mirror.co.uk, Ben is the father of Violet, Serafina, and Samuel, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
He is also the stepfather to JLo’s two children, Max and Emme.
Jennifer’s post came after reports earlier in the week suggested she was “over” trying to save her marriage with Ben amid claims that he had moved out of their home.
A source told the publication that she is no longer willing to do “more” to keep their marriage intact. The insider said, “Jenny has had enough, and she really tried, but she can do no more. It’s not getting any better; it’s worse.”
The report also mentioned that Jennifer has grown tired of Ben’s alleged “grumpy and negative” demeanor. The insider explained, “Ben is a great guy, but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos, like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn’t smile. If they saw how it really was, they would not attack her.”
“He chain-smokes and cusses and seems irritated a lot of the time. Great director and actor, but not a lot of laughs with him, you know?” the source added.
