Jennifer Lopez discusses her ‘super shy’ off stage

Addressing these perceptions on the US TV show 'Extra', Lopez explained, "I know people think that’s a crazy thing to say. I get super closed off… super friendly but also super shy. I think people read it like, ‘Oh, she’s like maybe standoffish or something like that,’ but it’s not that."

Renowned Hollywood star and singer Jennifer Lopez has revealed a surprising side of her personality: she is "super shy" when she's not on stage performing. The friendly Lopez revealed some things about herself, saying she often comes across as shut off and that, in turn, may wrongly be interpreted as her being stand-offish.

The current star of the title role 'Atlas' on Netflix, Lopez also expressed her concerns that real-life artificial intelligence (AI) was advancing far too quickly. Speaking about the film's intense scenes, Lopez said she found it difficult to act when there were no other actors on the set.

"I am. I’m worried about that. I think it’s a scary thing, and we have to kind of be careful about it and really think about where it’s going," she stated.

Lopez elaborated on the demanding nature of filming 'Atlas', particularly the physically intense scenes. Contrary to her initial expectations of solo takes and quick shoots, she found herself grappling with the strenuous demands of the role, especially without the support of fellow actors.

"I thought it would be me, by myself, do the takes, be so fast, don’t have to worry about anybody else not remembering their lines… First day, you’re falling through the planets. It’s all going crazy. Now, your leg’s broke… It was so high-intensity every day, and without having another actor kind of to give you half the energy, it’s just all you. I was exhausted. I would leave the ‘Atlas’ set limping," she recounted.
