With "Come Back to Me," RM gives listeners the catchy indie-pop song, along with poetic lyrics evoking the ups and downs of uncertainty. The bitter sweetness of longing and introspection is vividly felt in the touching words, "Everything comes back, though not necessarily everything."

Regarding the making of the song, the agency said it was the manifestation of RM's anxiety about the pursuit of new experiences versus the comfort of being at home. Working with notable artists such as Hyukoh's Oh Hyuk, who did an excellent job with the composition and arrangement, and Kuo from the Sunset Rollercoaster on guitar and bass, RM was able to create a musical masterpiece that everyone can relate to.
