Jennifer Lopez has clearly had a lot of fun with her last few Netflix films, and the actress is certainly primed to return to the streamer for her next.
The Hollywood Reporter reports the performer will star in the Netflix rom-com Office Romance with Ted Lasso standout Brett Goldstein.
Goldstein is writing the script with Joe Kelly. No plot for the film is known and no director is attached.
Earlier this year, Lopez starred in director Brad Peyton's Netflix sci-fi flick Atlas, which stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. Prior to that, she toplined the streamer's 2023 action film The Mother for director Niki Caro.
Lopez's next film is director William Goldenberg's sports drama Unstoppable, which Amazon MGM Studios is due to release in December following its Toronto International Film Festival premiere earlier this month. This real-life wrestler-inspirational drama will see Matt Damon and Lopez's estranged husband Ben Affleck as producers.
She is known for romance comedies with some of the popular titles she had led being The Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan. Marry Me and Shotgun Wedding are two of Lopez's most recent movies.
Goldstein is an Emmy Award-winner for his breakout on Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso. Other credits include the romantic feature All of You, which opened at TIFF this month, as well as co-creating the Apple TV+ series Shrinking.
Kelly was the co-writer and an executive producer for Ted Lasso. He has also written for Detroiters, Saturday Night Live, and How I Met Your Mother.
