'He has changed': Sanjay Leela Bhansali on working with Salman Khan

Recently, while having an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the topic of Inshallah was raised and Bhansali was asked about his plans to work with Salman. The filmmaker acknowledged that there are differences but the actor is still a close friend. He said, "Salman is a very dear friend, and I wanted to work with him after Padmavat. I put my best feet forward to make it happen."

The buffs went crazy when Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced his movie titled Inshallah with Salman Khan. The movie was supposed to feature Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt working together for the first time. But the movie got shelved within few days of announcement.

However, Salman and Bhansali worked together for the first time back in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The movie captured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgan in pivotal roles.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's recent release Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role has breathed new life into theatres.
