Director Edward Zwick Reveals Brad Pitt Considered Quitting 'Legends of the Fall'

Director Edward Zwick has shared insights into directing Brad Pitt in the 1994 film 'Legends of the Fall' in his upcoming memoir, 'Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions: My Forty-something Years in Hollywood.'

In the memoir, Zwick revealed that the film faced challenges after Tom Cruise, initially considered for the role of Tristan Ludlow, withdrew due to concerns about the character's ethics. However, Zwick remained determined to bring the project to fruition and continued searching for the right actor to portray Tristan.
