Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has fallen in love all over again with her daughter Devi as she sported a new haircut inspired by veteran actress Sadhana.
Bipasha shared a video on her Instagram Stories where Devi is seen playing in Indian wear and sporting a Sadhana-inspired haircut that was in super vogue through the 1960s and 1970s. To add effect, Bipasha chose the Mohammed Rafi song "Gaal Gulabi Kis Ke Hain" from the 1960 film "Love In Simla," which marked Sadhana's entry into Hindi cinema and catapulted her to stardom. The film also starred Azra, Shobhana Samarth, and Durga Khote.
"Love the Sadhna cut," Bipasha captioned the clip.
"Love In Shimla" is about an orphan named Sonia who lives with her aunt and cousin, Sheela, who torment her for her plain looks. Sonia later challenges Sheela that she will make the latter's boyfriend fall in love with her.
Bipasha, who had married actor Karan Singh Grover in 2016 after the two met on the sets of "Alone," welcomed their daughter Devi last year. Best known for her work in the 2000s in the thriller and horror genres, the 45-year-old actress made her acting debut in 2001 with "Ajnabee." Her first lead role was in the horror film "Raaz" in 2002. She gained huge stardom with films like "Jism," "No Entry," and the "Dhoom" franchise. Some of her commercial hits include "Corporate," "Phir Hera Pheri," "All The Best: Fun Begins," "Race," and "Bachna Ae Haseeno." Later, she did horror movies like "Raaz 3D," "Aatma," "Creature 3D," and "Alone."
