Being an ex-girlfriend of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is a biggest curse to me says Somy Ali, actress and social worker, who had been dating Salman during 90s.
Somy Ali, the lady, spoke exclusively to IANS on her days with Salman, her tryst with Bollywood, her NGO 'No More Tears', underworld don Dawood Ibrahim etc.
If she got something good out of her pretty volatile relationship with Salman Khan, such as more exposure, as to this day, she still gets introduced as Salman's ex-girlfriend, Somy said, "It is the biggest curse for me. I have done such good work in America and achieved so much, still, people identify me as Salman's ex-girlfriend."
She continued, "Salman Khan is turning 59 or 60 this December, still behaves like a playground or high school bully and harasses others due to his insecurities. He keeps telling people not to talk to me.".
She further shared that Manisha Koirala said: "Manisha told me someone had told her I have cancer. I was stunned. I said: 'No, what are you talking about? I wanted to get in touch with you because we hadn't talked for ages. In fact, I did not know anything about your cancer.".
She shared some insights about the relationship she had with Salman Khan. "Salman has a pattern — the seven-year itch. Women usually stay with him for seven years before discovering his true self. Interestingly, he never ends relationships; the girl always walks away. It takes her seven years to figure out what he truly is.".
She then announced that Somy Ali used to not have any communications with the Indian film fraternity for years. She remarked, "Whenever I would think about Indian cinema it used to remind me of Salman, and that again use to give me depression as well as sadness."
