Arnold Schwarzenegger is facing legal troubles following a car accident where he was allegedly involved in reckless driving. Cheryl Augustine has filed a lawsuit, claiming permanent disability due to the crash.
The incident, which occurred at Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue in January 2022, led Cheryl to submit legal documents in Los Angeles County Superior Court on November 15. According to reports, she accuses Schwarzenegger of driving his Yukon SUV recklessly, causing a collision with her vehicle.
Cheryl detailed in the court papers that the collision resulted in severe injuries, leaving her permanently disabled and enduring significant physical and nervous system pain. She incurred substantial medical expenses, including fees for physicians and surgeons, the total of which is presently unknown.
Moreover, Cheryl alleged out-of-pocket property damage and the loss of use of her vehicle, along with additional expenses. She claims to have spent over $25,000 on damages, encompassing general damages, medical expenses, loss of earnings due to inability to work post-collision, and vehicle damages.
The accident involved Schwarzenegger's Yukon SUV colliding with a red Prius, leading to his car rolling and ending up on top of the Prius. Reports suggest he was attempting a left turn when the signal was red, though he reportedly wasn't issued a ticket. Despite this, Schwarzenegger emerged from the accident uninjured.
