Anxious Aryan Khan reading ‘religious’ books in Mumbai’s Arthur Jail, say authorities

According to jail officials, Aryan Khan who was arrested by NCB for alleged involvement in a cruise ship drugs case, got anxious after his bail plea got rejected, and to fight this anxiety jail official suggested he read books from the jail library. Following the advice of the officials, he got two books from Mumbai’s Arthur Jail library. One book is 'Golden Lion' and another book is based on the stories of Ram and Sita.

Anxious after bail plea rejection, Aryan Khan is doing all good deeds to get bail. Earlier he promised NCB officials to help others once he is out of jail and now he is whiling away his time in the Arthur Road Jail reading ‘religious’ books.

Inside the jail library, there are religious books as well as motivational books. Any prisoner or undertrial can get books from relatives, but only religious and motivational books are allowed.

On Thursday, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan paid a visit to his son in jail after a special court turned down Aryan Khan's bail plea on Wednesday. The Bombay High Court will hear the bail application on October 26.
