Director Anurag Basu's highly anticipated movie, "Metro... In Dino," has secured a new release date of September 13, 2024, as officially announced by the makers on Thursday. Serving as a spiritual sequel to Basu's 2007 film "Life in a... Metro," the upcoming project boasts an ensemble cast featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
T-Series shared the news on its social media platforms, stating, "#MetroInDino gets a new release date. This anthology of heartwarming stories will now release on 13th September 2024." Initially slated for a December 2023 theatrical release, the film had its date moved to March 29, 2024, before settling on the newly announced September release.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd, "Metro... In Dino" features music composed by Pritam, who has previously collaborated with Basu on notable films such as "Gangster," "Life in a... Metro," "Barfi!," "Jagga Jasoos," and "Ludo." The film is expected to bring together heartwarming stories in the tradition of Basu's unique storytelling style.
