The conversation also delved into Neetu Kapoor's relationship with her late husband, Rishi Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor shared insights into her tumultuous relationship with Rishi Kapoor, mentioning his distant behavior towards their children, Riddhima and Ranbir Kapoor. She spoke about Rishi Kapoor's tendency to display bullying behavior, which affected their relationship. However, she revealed that a significant change occurred during Rishi Kapoor's cancer treatment in New York. Despite the sadness of that period, Neetu Kapoor emphasized that it was the best year of her life.

Reflecting on Rishi Kapoor's transformation during his last days, Neetu Kapoor said, “Chintu Ji (Rishi Kapoor) was a very loving person. He had a lot of love in him. But he never really showed his love. He always kept his distance and bullied people, not showing his love. Especially with me and my children. Respect and all he lost out on a lot with his children. He was never a friend to them. But that year, he opened up. He showed love, went towards me also, he was so lovely. We had the best time.”

Neetu Kapoor also mentioned the legacy Rishi Kapoor has left behind, referencing her granddaughter Raha and how her name aptly brings comfort. The discussion on the talk show provided a glimpse into the complexities and transformations within Neetu Kapoor's relationship with Rishi Kapoor over the years.
