If the current film, 'Kalki 2898 AD', is any indication of success, then veteran Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has all but confirmed the appearance of his son, Abhishek Bachchan, in the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'King'.
Big B took to his X account on Tuesday and updated an quoted tweet by an Abhishek fan club. Through the tweet, Abhishek's role as an antagonist was discussed wherein it was mentioned that he will essay a negative lead in 'King', which stars SRK's daughter, Suhana Khan.
Those who have seen Abhishek Sir in 'Breathe into the Shadows', 'Raavan', and 'BB' know the calibre of performance he can give in a negative role. Never doubt him. @juniorbachchan Abhishek Sir and Sujoy Ghosh. @iamsrk #SuhanaKhan #King #AbhishekBachchan @sujoy_g".
The reaction to this kind of news came from Big B. He tweeted, "All the best Abhishek. It is TIME ".
This is not the first time that the veteran actor has leaked out information unwittingly. Earlier he had leaked out the information about 'The Archies' which featured his grandson Agastya Nanda too apart from Suhana.
'King' is the second film of Suhana following the critical failure of 'The Archies'. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, 'The Archies' was panned by all for its boring theme and treatment.
Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand, 'King' is likely to commence shooting towards the end of this year and hit theaters sometime in 2025.
