Aishwarya Rai’s Sister-in-Law Faces Online Trolls Over Her Reels

Aishwarya Rai’s sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, and her husband, Aditya Rai, recently became the target of online trolls after sharing a series of reels on her social media account.

Shrima’s decision to post videos showcasing lighthearted moments of her daily life was met with mixed reactions from her followers. While many admired her charm and wit, a section of social media users expressed their discontent, criticizing the reels.

The videos had Shrima dancing with her husband, Aditya. In one video that gained popularity overnight, the couple was seen twinning in black and dancing together. One user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the couple's reel and wrote, "I just discovered Aishwarya Rai's brother and sister-in-law on @Reddit and can't get over them!

Very soon, trolls flocked into the comment section for netizens to mock at. The comments ranged from: "Why, why, why did I have to see this?" and "cringe".

Meanwhile, Shrima Rai was making news recently, after posting a picture of an unexpected bouquet of flowers on her Instagram, courtesy of the Bachchans' and Nikhil Nanda. Shrima shared this bouquet through her Instagram story along with heartfelt words, "Thank you, Nikhil Nanda and Shweta. This is stunning… " The motive behind the gesture remains a mystery.

Shrima, known for keeping a private life, rarely posts pictures of Aishwarya. She hasn't shared a picture with her sister-in-law since May. In fact, just recently, a troll commented on the fact that she never shares pictures of Aishwarya or even her niece, Aaradhya Bachchan. Shrima hit back saying that she wanted to be known as an artist and not her family.

On Instagram, Shrima posted a note that mentioned, "Life is too short. Build a life of your dreams but create balance and peace. Be kind and trusting but create boundaries. Be confident and know who you are but remain humble. Find ways to self-improve always. Because tomorrow is never promised." Love, forgive, grow.
