Six students from Rajasthan top JEE man exams

The topper of the latest session whose results were announced on Tuesday night is Pulkit Goyal. He says, "Maths is my favourite subject; I enjoy solving questions." Pulkit, who hails from Bathinda, Punjab, has obtained AIR-1 in JEE Main 2021. Pulkit focused on strengthening the foundation of all the subjects. He did self-study for 7 to 8 hours daily. For recreation, he spent time with his family. He aims to crack JEE Advanced and pursue engineering in the CS branch from IIT Bombay.
O.P. Jindal Global University signs MOU with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

This MoU will strengthen cooperation in the area of promotion, awareness raising, development, teaching and research in the fields of humanitarian studies and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). The main purpose of the MoU is to further deepen the understanding of Humanitarian Studies and issues pertaining to IHL through research, knowledge exchange and curriculum development.
KGMU medical student held in NEET solvers' scam

The medico has been identified as Dr. Osama Shahid and the other person is Abhay Kumar Mehta, said the police on Wednesday. This comes after an inter-state gang of solvers was busted during NEET exam-2021 in the Sarnath area on Monday. The medico and his accomplice were arrested from the Pandeypur crossing on Tuesday.
NYC schools reopen for in-person classes

The public school system in New York City, the biggest in the US with about 1.1 million students, witnessed the return of most of its students with joy and anxiety on Monday, reports Xinhua news agency. All students and staff members are required to wear masks at school and classrooms, and cafeterias will have air purifiers, with each classroom to be sanitised each night.
NEET cheat gang says it worked hard for last one year to find dummy candidates

Surprisingly, these accused confirmed to police officials that they too were 'working hard' since the last one year to zero in on the dummy candidates. It was a hard task to find such candidates who could take the test and help the real candidates crack the exam, they revealed during interrogation. The police arrested this 10-member gang a few hours before the start of the NEET exam on Sunday.
Brother-sister duo on top in CA final exam

Both the students of Victor Convent School in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh prepared together for the IPCC (Integrated Professional Competency Course) and CA (Chartered Accountants) final. "Our strategy has been simple - we support each other but we critique even more. When we solve a question paper, he checks my answers and I check his. There were times when I lost hope but my brother helped me throughout that phase," said Nandini.

Many students reportedly found the paper moderately difficult. A total of 16.14 lakh students registered for the examination and a total of around 16 lakh candidates appeared for the test. This year the examinations were conducted on September 12 from 2 pm to 5 pm in offline mode.
Bill seeking exemption for TN from NEET tabled in Assembly

The DMK led by its President Stalin had come to power in the state promising that it would cancel NEET. This is the second time a bill for such a purpose is being tabled in the Assembly. A similar bill was passed by the assembly during the AIADMK regime which did not get the President's assent.
1,10,971 TN students to appear for NEET today

Tamil Nadu has 225 examination centres for NEET. In the state capital, 17,992 students will take the exam in 33 centres. Students will be allowed into the examination halls on a staggered basis with the first batch to enter classrooms by 10.30 a.m. and this will continue till 1.30 p.m., half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
