Applicants who have already taken the VCIS 2022 are not eligible for this year's internship. The VCIS will be for a time period of 2 months, tentatively in June and July. All regular, bona fide students of DU who are studying in any stream at an undergraduate or postgraduate program are eligible for this summer internship, except for students in their 1st year or 2nd semester.

Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply through the official website of JEECUP – jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The admit card for the examination will be released on May 22nd, and the exam will be held from June 1st to June 6th. For open and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 300, whereas for SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribes) candidates, the fee is Rs. 200.
US to start student visa application process from mid-May

"Attention students! In mid-May, the US Mission to India will open the first batch of appointments for the upcoming student visa season," the US Consulate General in Hyderabad announced via a tweet. "Additional appointments will be released later in the season. Prepare for your appointments and stay tuned for more student visa related announcements," it said.The US consulates processed nearly 1.25 lakh visa applications of students in India last year.
India edges past China to send more students to US in 2022: Report

According to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement's annual report, the number of students from China and India made Asia the most popular continent of origin. "Comparable to the drop from calendar year 2020 to 2021, China sent fewer students in 2022 compared to 2021 (-24,796), while India sent more students (+64,300)," the report said.

Earlier, the NTA had released the examination city information slips for the entrance test. The examination will be held on May 4th in two shifts. The first shift will start from 9 am to 12 pm, and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The time duration for CMAT 2023 is three hours, and the instructions will be given in English.

The admit card for the examination will be released on May 29th, 2023 and can be downloaded until June 4th, 2023. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam will have two papers, with Paper 1 conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The provisional answer key will be available on June 11th, 2023, and applicants can raise objections if any until June 12th, 2023.

DU to launch 'Panchang' on April 28 to disseminate ancient Indian knowledge

The Panchang will be released by DU Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh in the presence of several personalities from the fields of literature and culture, including the varsity's department heads, teachers, students, and researchers, among others. The chief guest at the programme will be Ramlal, the all-India Sampark Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
