The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the official answer keys of NEET-UG 2021 by September 25. The phase 2 registrations are also expected to begin shortly. NTA will be preparing the provisional answer keys and the candidates will be given a fair opportunity to raise objections and challenge any question they want by paying a fee of Rs. 1000 per question. Any objection raised will be taken up by the authorities into consideration while preparing the final answer key.
The final results for NEET-UG 2021 will be prepared based on the final answer key. The final results won't be changed or re-evaluated once released. As per the NEET qualifying criteria, the merit list or All India Rank will be prepared by NTA.
As per media reports, NTA might also release the scanned images of the OMR answer sheets for recording the responses of the students for the same, though no official statement has yet been issued on this matter.

How To Download the final answer key?
Step 1 - Log on to the official website at ntaneet.nic.in
Step 2 - Click on the “NEET Final Answer Key 2021”
Step 3 - Enter your login credentials that are shown on the screen
Step 4 - Submit and view the NEET code-wise final answer
Qualifying Criteria
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 50th percentile if they belong to the general categories and 40th percentile if they belong to reserved categories to be eligible for admissions in undergraduate medical courses. For the PwD (person with disabilities) in general categories, the qualifying mark is 45th percentile. The percentile calculation for NTA NEET will be done on the basis of the highest scores secured.

Tie-Breaking Procedure
In case of equal marks or percentile scores between candidates, the candidates will be ranked higher based on the higher marks obtained in Biology (Botany and Zoology), followed by, higher marks in Chemistry, if the marks obtained are still the same the marks will be compared based on who attempted less proportion of a number of attempted, incorrect, and correct answers in all the subjects.
