The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022. The candidates are now allowed to correct their category section in the application forms. The NEET UG 2022 candidates can avail the facility from June 14 to June 16 (till 9 pm). Candidates can visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in, with their credentials, and make the required changes.
"In continuation of the Public Notice dated 24 May 2022, it has been decided to provide another opportunity to the candidates to correct/change their Category themselves in their respective Online Application Forms for NEET (UG) – 2022," the NTA said in a statement.
The candidates who somehow could not mention their actual category correctly in their NEET UG online application form can now make the correction themselves and upload the scanned copy of the certificate.
Candidates who could not obtain the category certificate from the respective authority can upload a self-declaration in the format prescribed by the NTA.
“The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM. Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates,” the agency further said.
