The National Testing Agency has decided to postpone the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET exams, which were scheduled to take place from 25 to 27 June. The decision was taken due to unavoidable circumstances and logistical issues, stated an official notification issued on Friday. "The Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024, earlier slated to be held from 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024, stands postponed due to unavoidable circumstances and logistic issues. The revised date of examination shall be announced later on the website," the NTA said.
Candidates are advised to visit the official website for revised dates of examination.
The Joint CSIRUGC-NET Examination tests the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship, for Assistant Professor, and for PhD admission in UGC-affiliated Universities/Colleges.
The UGC-NET examination was canceled by the NTA on June 19, a day after the scheduled date earlier this month.
