The National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 1, 2022, extended the registration deadline for JEE Mains entrance examination. Earlier the last date to apply was March 31. The latest update by NTA says that the last date of submitting the application form will be April 5, 2022 ( up to 9:50 pm).
This year NTA will conduct the entrance examination in two sessions. JEE Mains exam session 1 is scheduled to be held on 21, 24, 25, 29 April, and 01 & 04 May 2022.
JEE Main 2022 will be held in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu in addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati, the official statement said.

JEE Main 2022 question paper will comprise two sections for each subject:
-Section A, this section will have 20 MCQs for each subject
-In section B, there will be 10 numerical questions, from which students will have to answer only five.
“For Paper 1 and Part-I of Paper 2, each Subject will have two sections. Section A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Section B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value. In Section B, candidates have to attempt any 05 (five) questions out of 10,” the NTA said.
“There will be negative marking for both Section A and Section B. For each question in Section B, enter the correct integer value of the answer using the mouse and the on-screen virtual numeric keypad in the place designated to enter the answer. For Section B, the answer should be rounded off to the nearest Integer,” it added.

Step 2: Click on 'Registration for JEE(Main) 2022'.
Step 3: A new webpage will open on your screen.
Step 4: Click on 'New Registration'.
Step 5: Enter your personal information and register yourself.
Step 6: Fill up the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 7: Submit the application form and pay the examination fee.
Step 8: Save the confirmation page and take a print of it for future reference.
