CBSE Board exams 2021: Term 1 datesheet for Class 10th and 12th to release on October 18

According to the guidelines and pattern of CBSE, Term 1 will be conducted in November and December 2021, and Term 2 will be held between March and April 2022. The Term 1 examination will have multiple choice questions and assertion-reasoning and the duration of the exam will be for 90 minutes.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the term 1 datesheet for classes 10th and 12th on Monday, October 18. Students can check the updates and detailed datesheet on the official website of CBSE at cbseacademic.nic.in.

According to the guidelines and pattern of CBSE, Term 1 will be conducted in November and December 2021, and Term 2 will be held between March and April 2022. The Term 1 examination will have multiple choice questions and assertion-reasoning and the duration of the exam will be for 90 minutes. Term 2 will have short and long answer-type questions and the examination will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj that the Term 1 results will be declared but no student would be placed in the categories of the pass, compartment, and essential repeat categories after the first term. The final results will be calculated and declared after the Term 2 examinations.

As this year's CBSE Board Examination 2021-22 has an entirely different pattern compared to last year, CBSE has released special tips and sample papers to support the students. They have uploaded several tests, question banks, study tips, and other curriculums for the schools. The two terms will have 50 percent of the total syllabus in each term. The duration and exam pattern are also different for the two terms.
