The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) and Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted as scheduled by National Testing Agency (NTA) in May and June, respectively. The national level entrance exams for engineering and medical are both conducted by NTA. JEE examinations are for students aspiring to take engineering studies and NEET examinations are for medical aspirants students who want to pursue MBBS/Dental degrees.

The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted for the first time and the examination will be important as the government has made it mandate for all central universities to conduct the common entrance for admissions. The original plan for entrance exams to get admission into central universities was supposed to be held in 2021 but the plans were put on hold amid pandemic concerns.
