Steady at Rs 63,150: Gold Prices Show No Significant Change per 10 Grams

Saumil Gandhi, a senior analyst of commodities at HDFC Securities, mentioned that spot gold prices (24 carats) in Delhi markets were flat at Rs 63,150/10 grams, maintaining the same level as the previous close.

Gold prices held steady at Rs 63,150 per 10 grams in the national capital on Thursday, as reported by HDFC Securities. The price of silver remained unchanged at Rs 76,300 per kilogram.

In the futures market, the February contract for gold increased by Rs 164 to reach Rs 62,160 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Simultaneously, the March contract for silver rose by Rs 120 to Rs 72,089 per kg on the exchange.

On the international front, gold was marginally higher at USD 2,031 per ounce, while silver declined to USD 22.97 per ounce.

Looking ahead, traders anticipate that gold prices may experience a range-bound movement before the release of the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) data later on Thursday, according to insights from Saumil Gandhi.
