Reliance Industries Ltd announced on Thursday that its board will deliberate on the issuance of 1:1 bonus shares during a meeting scheduled for September 5, 2024, according to a regulatory filing.
The company, which stands as India's most valuable, previously issued bonus shares in September 2017.
In the stock exchange filing, the company stated, "The Board of Directors is set to convene on Thursday, September 5, 2024, to consider and propose to the shareholders the approval of issuing bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio to equity shareholders, utilizing the company's reserves for capitalization."
Before the 2017 issuance, Reliance had last offered a 1:1 bonus share issue in 2009.
