Global RPA software sales to reach $2.9 bn this year

Although growing at a slower pace than previous years, the worldwide RPA software market is projected to continue to experience double-digit growth in 2023, growing 17.5 per cent year over year, according to the latest forecast from Gartner. "By achieving a growth rate of 31 per cent in 2021, the RPA market grew well above the average worldwide software market growth rate of 16 per cent," said Cathy Tornbohm, distinguished VP analyst at Gartner.
Passenger car makers log sales growth in July 2022

Industry leader Maruti Suzuki India Ltd closed July, selling 175,916 units (domestic 145,666 units, sales to other vehicle maker 9,939 units, exports 20,311 units) as against July 2021 numbers of 162,462 units (domestic 133,732 units, OEM sales 4,738 units, exports 21,224 units). The shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles, mainly in domestic models.
Mega 5G spectrum ends with over Rs 1.5L cr in bids, Reliance Jio leads

5G airwaves worth Rs 1,50,173 crore has been sold so far and the final tally is being prepared by the government, according to sources. Day six of the 5G spectrum auction on Sunday saw an incremental increase in the bidding figure after 37 rounds, with bids worth Rs 1,50,130 crore. According to industry analysts, Reliance Jio has placed bids for more than Rs 84,500 crore, while Airtel's bids are worth more than Rs 46,500 crore.
Hero Electric sells close to 9K EV 2-wheelers in July, tops segment

Ather Energy sold just 1,279 EV two-wheelers for the full month of July from selling 3,829 vehicles in June -- a massive drop in numbers -- followed by Ola Electric which sold 3,852 vehicles from 5,891 vehicles in June. Ampere Vehicles Pvt Ltd, which sold 6,542 vehicles in June, saw a minor drop at 6,312 vehicles last month.
Nearly 350 aircraft inspected in last few months, says Aviation Ministry

"The spot checks raised findings which were corrected by the airlines. Another series of spot checks were carried out on all operating aircraft of Spicejet from July 9 to 13, wherein 53 spot checks were carried out on 48 aircraft which did not raise any significant finding or safety violations," said the Ministry of civil Aviation in a written reply in the House.
Retail assets securitisation volumes rise manifold in Q1 FY23

The retail market volume was again driven by direct assignment transactions, which had a lion's share of 61% of the overall size, while the remaining share was that of pass through certificate deals. Within direct assignment, the dominant asset class was mortgage-backed securitisation (MBS) with an aggregate size of around Rs 13,000 crore, followed by asset-backed securitisation (ABS) at around Rs 4,000 crore, which includes pools backed by all the asset classes.
Load factor of SpiceJet on July 30, 31 was 81% and 82.4% respectively

We are operating with excellent loads and the daily ticket bookings remain strong. Our load factor on July 30th and 31st was 81% andA 82.4% respectively," said the airline spokesperson.
GST collection in July second highest ever

For five months in a row, the monthly GST revenues have been more than Rs 1.4 lakh crore "During the month, revenues from import of goods was 48% higher and the revenues from domestic transaction (including import of services) are 22% higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year," the ministry said.
India gets new World Bank Country Director
